Golfing and mentoring trips

If you are a keen golfer, and would like to go to a country where you can see the sights, play some golf and give back to the local community at the same time, then we have just the package for you.

You will be based at the Malewa Ranch House, a lovingly restored colonial house near Naivasha, in Kenya's breathtaking Rift Valley, which can accommodate groups of up to 10 people in five bedrooms. We have negotiated heavily discounted rates which include excellent European meals three times a day. The Ranch House is set in beautiful grounds next to Kigio Wildlife Conservancy, and has an open verandah looking out onto a lawn that is often host to ostrich, warthog and the occasional antelope.

There are four golf clubs within an hour's drive, at Naivasha, Nakuru and Gilgil. Located on the slopes of the extinct volcanic Menengai Crater, Nakuru is the only uphill course in Kenya, and has "stunning views of the lake with its millions of flamingoes, as well as of Menengai Crater and the distant Rift Valley escarpments". A number of world class courses are located less than two hours away by road, including the Royal Nairobi and Windsor Golf & Country Club.

We can tailor a trip to your needs. If you have two weeks to spare, you might want to spend 10 days with us, spending every other day playing golf, and providing mentoring support to local entrepreneurs on the other five days. We can help you to book a safari in Kenya before or afterwards. We can arrange club hire and all transport, and can provide a wide range of evening and weekend activities, ranging from local walks and trips to nearby game parks to the time-honoured 'sundowner' drink.
